Crane Migration

Update as of 3/2022

Many of you know, beyond my personal retreat to see the cranes, I have been developing a screenplay that is set in this place during this time. Along the way, many have encouraged me to write it as a book. I am thrilled to announce as of February 2022 my book  Fauna’s Thread, is available on Amazon as Paperback and Kindle. There is great hope of making a movie or series about it one day.

An amazing spectacle happens every spring in Nebraska. The annual migration of Sandhill cranes. They arrive from the south, traveling to their summer grounds in the north. They have done so for millions of years. Glorious low light and thousands of birds create settings a plenty for amazing photography. It is quite the sight for cold eyes.

For now, plan a visit. Just go. Read my book. Then go again. Breathe, see, listen, embrace – enjoy.

Happy Spring.
